WHY: Maestro Kevin Rhodes has been Music Director & Conductor of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra for 13 seasons. During that time he’s created world-class performances that have brought internationally acclaimed soloists to the stage at Symphony Hall, and has entertained and educated adults and children from across the Pioneer Valley and beyond. Rhodes has had an exceptionally varied career spanning concerts, opera and ballet across the globe, and having conducted in 15 different countries with approximately 50 different orchestras. He is one of the most sought-after conductors by the world’s major ballet companies and their orchestras.
