Memory Support & Alzheimer’s Care

On our JGS Lifecare campus we have the added benefit of assisted memory support for those in need.

Our adult day health program (Wernick) is a fully secure environment in a medical model of care, geared to those who are experiencing a higher level of memory loss. Ruth’s House Assisted Living offers a specialized neighborhood, fully secure, called The Garden. For individuals who are curious and exploratory, this space allows residents to remain safe at all times. The Garden showcases a beautifully appointed outside area, complete with a center waterfall, park benches and paved walkways.

As mom continued to decline, experiencing falls and bouts of forgetfulness, I sought out assisted living. When mom moved into the Garden Unit at Ruth’s House she blossomed! Mom changed, she became social and even a little sassy; she had a spring in her step. I could not think of a better environment for mom to spend her final years. She was happy and I was thrilled that mom was in a safe environment with a wonderful, caring staff.
