Spring Clean Day at JGS Lifecare, 4/29, kicks off Valley Gives appeal

Money donated through this year’s campaign will fund healing, adaptive gardens for residents.

WHO:              JGS Lifecare is hosting a Spring Clean Day to kick-off their Valley Gives campaign.

WHEN:           Sunday, April 29, 9 am–12 pm

WHERE:         JGS Lifecare, 770 Converse St., Longmeadow, Mass.

WHAT:           Volunteers, staff, residents and families will spring clean courtyards, outdoor spaces and entryways at JGS Lifecare in preparation for the warmer spring and summer months. Once the weather warms up, JGS Lifecare will use funds raised during this year’s Valley Gives Day on May 1 to build and plant healing gardens featuring raised beds, vertical gardening and adaptive gardening tools that allow residents to participate in gardening. Donations can be made anytime between April 26 and May 1 by going to valley-gives.org and selecting JGS Lifecare.
