JGS Lifecare welcomes Lori Payson as new director of sales and community relations

JGS Lifecare, a leading health care system serving seniors and their families in western Massachusetts, recently welcomed Lori Payson of Longmeadow as its new director of sales and community relations.

Payson works with Susan Halpern, vice president of philanthropy, JGS Lifecare, who said, “Lori brings a wealth of experience working in eldercare facilities in western Massachusetts. Her passion and enthusiasm for our commitment to changing our eldercare culture from an institutional care model to one that is person-centered and celebrates each individual will help us deliver the highest quality of care and help us redefine aging.”

With over 15 years of experience working with skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, as well as a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Elms College, Payson was recently instrumental in the rebranding of two local nursing home centers into newly renovated short stay centers. She is a Dementia Friend Champion and a member of Western Massachusetts Elder Care Professionals.

“My career is built around helping seniors to maximize elderhood, and I’m excited to introduce them to the comprehensive campus of care and services we offer at JGS Lifecare,” said Payson.
