JGS Lifecare, a leading health care system serving seniors and their families, will host its 38th annual fundraising golf tournament, the Frankel-Kinsler Classic, on Monday, June 18 at the Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow.
“This popular annual community event features great food and camaraderie as we enjoy a day of play in support of JGS Lifecare,” said Susan Halpern, vice president of philanthropy, JGS Lifecare. “Event proceeds will support the enhancement of our residents’ dining experiences with the purchase of new dining room furniture and serving equipment. Funds will also support employee scholarships.”
The Frankel-Kinsler Classic will include:
10 a.m. Tennis and pickleball tournament
11 a.m. Barbecue luncheon
12:30 p.m. Shotgun start tee-off for 18-hole bramble
1 p.m. Bridge, mahjong and canasta
5:45 p.m. Cocktail reception
6:30 p.m. Awards dinner
The Frankel-Kinsler Classic is named in memory of Michael J. Frankel, former chairman of the JGS Lifecare Board of Directors, and the families of Raymond and Herman Kinsler, longtime leaders and supporters, for their exemplary commitment to those served by JGS Lifecare.
