JGS Lifecare offers Bubbie’s Catering for Passover
Preparing Passover dinner can be stressful, but for over 20 years, JGS Lifecare, a leading health care system serving seniors and their families, has made Passover dinner preparation easy and stress free with Bubbie’s Catering, offering take-home Passover specials including appetizers, entrees and side dishes at reasonable prices.
Orders for 2018 must be placed no later than Friday, March 23 at noon, and will be available for pickup at Michael’s Café on the JGS Lifecare campus at 770 Converse Street, Longmeadow, on Friday, March 30, from 8 to 10 a.m.
“’Bubbie’ is a term of endearment for a Jewish grandmother,” said Susan Kimball Halpern, vice president of philanthropy. “Bubbie’s Catering is our effort to provide kosher foods for Passover, made from traditional and modernized recipes, with the love and attention your grandmother would provide.”
The kosher offerings on the Bubbie’s Catering menu and at Michael’s Café are prepared with oversight from Mashgiach Reverend David Aminia.
This year’s Passover menu features:
- Appetizers, including barbecued meatballs, chicken soup, chopped liver, fluffy matzo balls and gefilte fish
- Two entrée choices: boneless breast of chicken with stuffing and roast brisket of beef jardinière
- Side dishes, including potato scallion kugel, carrot and sweet potato tzimmes, charoses, rosemary roasted red potatoes and mixed fruit compote
The menu and order form are available at JGSLifecare.org by clicking on News & Events and then Special Events. Orders are accepted by phone or email, or the form can be dropped off at JGS Lifecare.
