Certified Dementia Practitioner Training

JGS Lifecare, a leading health care system serving seniors and their families and an affiliate of Legacy Lifecare, is partnering with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) to host a one-of-a- kind, in person group training session on dementia care. The event will be held Thursday, November 7th from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on the JGS Lifecare campus at 770 Converse Street in Longmeadow.

Additionally, certification to become a Certified NCCDP Trainer will be available at a significantly discounted rate of $2,500 for a 12-hour session. Topics addressed include ways to achieve higher staff retention rates, marketing and sales opportunities, improving the census, how to alleviate hospital stays and how to increase the overall quality of care. The full day event Includes a continental breakfast, boxed lunch, and afternoon snack, all provided by Louis & Clark Pharmacy. The cost of the program is $195 per person; Certified Dementia Specialist certification will be provided at the end of the session.
