Thank you for supporting the Frankel-Kinsler Classic, and congratulations to the winners

Frankel-Kinsler Golf Classic

On Monday, June 19, JGS Lifecare celebrated its 37th Annual Frankel-Kinsler Classic at Twin Hills Country Club. Together, we raised over $100,000, which will go to support the enhancement of our residents’ dining experiences with the purchase of new dining room furniture and serving equipment. Funds will also support employee scholarships.

Much appreciation for our staff and volunteers

Thanks to the detailed planning and oversight by our own Kim Grandfield, the day went off perfectly––even the rainy weather held off until we were done. Thank you to our many volunteers from our staff and from the community who helped us with registration, spotting for holes-in-one, selling raffle tickets, and more. Committee members who helped us plan this event by raising sponsorships, requesting raffle donations, selling raffle tickets, and recruiting a full field of golfers included:

  • Bruce Devlin
  • David Ference
  • Seymour Frankel
  • Jeff Grodsky
  • Scott Grodsky
  • Richard Halpern
  • Mike Horowitz
  • Israel Schepps
  • Jon Shrair
  • Brian Zippin

A special thanks to Richard for securing so many gifts and sponsorships, to Israel for your oversight of the golf tournament, and to The Blood Brothers––Bruce Devlin, Tim Tomko, Kim Coale and Jeff Sullivan––for your wonderful entertainment.

Hats off to all of our competitors and the tournament winners

Joining our 95 golfers were 38 bridge players, 25 canasta players, 18 mah jongg players, and 6 pickleball players. The Bridge Committee included Jan Draymore and Doris Chase; canasta was organized by Linda Radding; mah jongg by Jodie Foster, and pickleball by Wendy Webber.
