Message from Rob Whitten, President of JGS Lifecare

Rob Whitten

Dear Residents and Families,

During the month of November it’s traditional to reflect upon the things we are most grateful for in our lives. This year I am sincerely grateful for having the honor of working at JGS Lifecare, along with so many colleagues who are truly committed to the needs of those in our care. With the challenges that the past several years have presented, the resolve and perseverance on our campus have been remarkable. While many in our industry continue to struggle, JGS is thriving and growing.

I would also like to congratulate the Leavitt Family Nursing Home for obtaining the highest possible rating from the Center for Medicare Services. During the month of October we officially became a 5- Star nursing home provider. This accomplishment is no small feat! It is yet another example of our outstanding employees.

In closing, I would like to share that during the month of October JGS held a Years of Service banquet to honor employees celebrating 5, 10 and 15 year anniversaries. In addition, we also honored every employee with 20 years or more of service. In total, 47 employees were honored. This number represented a total of 776 years of service. John Roy, our most tenured employee, was honored for his 38 years of service with JGS Lifecare. Congratulation John and to all of you!

Warm regards,

Rob
