Message from Rob Whitten, President of JGS Lifecare

Dear Residents and Families of JGS Lifecare,
I am delighted to share some exciting updates with you as we welcome the summer season.
While it has been a warm start to the summer, our residents are staying cool inside with a variety of activities, including a special Father’s Day lunch at the Leavitt Family Jewish Home featuring pizza and sweet treats. Our staff enjoyed celebrating National Nurse’s week and Certified Nursing Assistant Week, which featured a food truck, scavenger hunt, BBQ, raffles, and ice cream! We deeply appreciate all the hard work our CNAs do for our residents.
We hope you will join us on Monday, July 15th, for the 43rd Annual Frankel-Kinsler Classic, a day of friendship and fun in support of the care of our community’s elders. What sets our tournament apart? Golf, tennis, pickleball, bridge, canasta, and mahjong. Enjoy a day playing the game you love while supporting our mission of caring! The tournament is named in memory of Michael J. Frankel and the Raymond and Herman Kinsler Families, longtime supporters and special ambassadors of JGS Lifecare.
We look forward to honoring our residents and staff of Ruth’s House Assisted Living as we conclude the summer by celebrating National Assisted Living Week from September 8 to 14.
I am immensely proud of all we have achieved and deeply thankful for the ongoing support from our residents and their families. Your involvement truly makes the JGS Lifecare community special.
Warm regards,
Rob
