The JGS Lifecare dementia support group offers a safe space for caregivers to share experiences, receive emotional support, and gain practical tips for managing the challenges of dementia care.
Scott Weiss is a compassionate facilitator with extensive experience supporting caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. With over six years of personal caregiving experience for his mother, Scott understands the unique challenges faced by those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Certified by the Alzheimer’s Association, Scott is dedicated to providing a safe, empathetic space for caregivers to share their experiences, gain valuable insights, and find mutual support. Scott will be leading an in-person support group at Ruth’s House in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where participants are encouraged to connect, share resources, and foster a community of understanding and resilience.
