The Garden Neighborhood at Ruth’s House is a safe and stimulating environment for those with memory loss. Our therapeutic recreational programming creates positive experiences for our residents, with specialized individual attention for each and every resident. Activities such as music, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, gentle exercises and outings can all help to enhance their day-to-day quality of life and sense of well-being. Our All-Season Sun-Room is a light and cheerful open space for group gatherings and activities. Our Sensory Room provides resident with a safe and stimulating environment to experience meaningful moments and feelings of well-being. Our It’s Never Too Late (iN2L) 75” touch screen system provides personalized and engaging programming for our residents, for group and individual settings. Our Abby Ambient Activity Wall Mounts, provide opportunities for resident to engage in familiar experiences (driving a car, petting a cat) that trigger memories and help manage responsive behaviors. The Secure Therapeutic Garden provides resident with easy access to outdoor space. Personalized Shadow Boxes and mementos help keep memories alive. Bright and attractive spaces invite children and grandchildren to visit.
