Message from Rob Whitten, President of JGS Lifecare

Dear Residents and Families of JGS Lifecare,

I am delighted to share some exciting updates with you as we enjoy the summer season.

While it has been a warm start to the summer, our residents have been staying cool inside with a variety of activities. Our summer household BBQs with A1 and A2 kick off on July 31 and we have a busy August planned, including a JGS Luau Party on the patio, a visit from the famous Gilbert the Party Pig and our popular Monthly Birthday Party.

I would like to welcome Gina Lucchese to the JGS family! Gina has recently joined us as the new Executive Director of Ruth’s House. She comes to us with many years of leadership within the Assisted Living field as well as a strong background in nursing. Please take a moment to stop in and meet Gina on your next visit to Ruth’s House.

Lastly, I’d like to thank our staff, volunteers and sponsors who recently made our 44th Annual Frankel Kinsler Classic Day of Tournament such a great success. The JGS Lifecare signature tournament brought the community together for a day of fun, food, and friendship to support the care of our community’s elders. Over 200 people participated in golf, pickleball, bridge, canasta, and mahjong tournaments. The event raised funds for enhanced programming and services for our residents. It was a memorable day for all.
