Nicole-Frank Maslar, RDN, LDN is owner and founder of Pyramid Nutrition Services, Inc, a team of registered and licensed dietitians/nutritionists who provide both individual nutrition counseling as well as consultant dietitian services to long-term care, assisted living, and senior centers in Western Massachusetts. She and her colleagues are dedicated to providing their clients with factual, evidence-based nutrition knowledge and counseling, helping to translate food and nutrition science into real life healthy practices.
Nicole enjoys being a dietitian because she wants to help make a difference in the lives of people through health, wellness, and prevention. She believes that every small change in behavior or habit makes a big difference in enhancing one’s life. Her areas of interest and specialties are weight management, bariatric counseling, eating disorders, Celiac disease, kidney disease, and cardiac disease. She is also a FODMAP certified provider by Monash University as of 2019.
Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western New England College, her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Life University graduating Magna Cum Laude and completed her dietetic internship at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, biking, and baseball!
Nicole performs a semi-annual review of the Ruth’s House meal plan to ensure menus are heart healthy and balanced, and provides educational programming for Ruth’s House residents on topics related to healthy nutrition and well-being. She is available to Ruth’s House residents by appointment for consultation to create menus that address an individual’s special dietary needs.
