In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and healthcare workers’ need for masks, Katie Standiford of Longmeadow started a Facebook group of local women called “Better than a Bandana”, to make and distribute masks. When they heard about the need in their own community at JGS Lifecare, they jumped into action producing over 100 masks in just 3 days. Yesterday Jared Standiford dropped off 100 masks to the Leavitt Family Jewish Home! Thank you Katie and daughter Charlotte Standiford, Jess Karr, Heidi Shea and Carol Berger for this extraordinary show of support!!
